In 1987 Michael Jordan went on the David Letterman show to promote the original "Banned" and "Chicago" Air Jordan 1's wearing an `80s-tastic bright red and blue jumpsuit. It was pretty glorious. Jordan Brand thought so too, which is why they are are releasing an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG this Saturday that is inspired by that magical suit.

Nicknamed "David Letterman" for obvious reasons, the shoes are made up of a bright crimson, premium leather upper with a navy swoosh, 'Wings' logo and collar. A nylon mesh navy tongue is topped with the Nike Air tag, and a navy outsole caps the white midsole. The finishing touch is a graphic of a microphone with the words "ON AIR" printed on the insole. These touchstones of television history will be available on a fist come, first serve basis this Saturday morning at 10:00am at our 1106 Chestnut St. location in Philadelphia.
