Since opening our doors in 2015, Lapstone & Hammer has been committed to artistry, innovation and craftsmanship in both the goods we carry and the spaces where we display them. With that commitment in mind, we are celebrating our two year anniversary with the opening of our brand new luxury annex. Located in our completely redesigned and expanded back room, this space will house footwear, apparel and accessories from high-end designers like Comme des Garçons, Rick Owens, A.P.C., Très Bien, Aimè Leon Dore and more.
Like the product displayed within its walls, the room itself has been painstakingly designed by Kate Rohrer from ROHE CREATIVE and built with an acute attention to detail so as to project an air of elegance and beauty from floor to ceiling. Staying true to the Art Deco roots of our historical building, we incorporated key elements from Makham Ashberry's 1933 design to live alongside contemporary, state-of-the-art features in a retro-futuristic aesthetic. We are proud and excited to finally complete the Lapstone & Hammer concept, and open up this space for the public to experience.
