When REC Philly and Lapstone & Hammer first began ideating on what a collaboration could look like, there was one common theme in mind - community. We wanted to make something that our shared community could see themselves in - the hip-hop heads, sneaker lovers, the creative freelancer, the street photographer and really everyone in between. Thus comes our "A Seat At The Table" capsule - a limited edition hoodie and t-shirt made for all creators, by creators. The front features a collection of photo realistic chairs printed across the chest above a quote that reads: “A strong community ensures everyone has a seat at the table” - a statement that embodies REC's mission as a collective, while the back serves as an ode to the many different chairs that sit at a table in order to bring a dream to fruition.
