The New Balance 998 Made In USA "Grey Day" stays true to the timeless design of the original 1993 model for the brand's annual celebration of their signature color. This special edition upgrades the classic build with premium grey hairy suede on top of a light grey mesh upper with navy pigskin suede accents. It features a navy leather 'N' logo on the side, white laces and lining, tan plastic accents on the collar and an off white TPU heel counter. The 998 was the first model to have ABZORB technology in the midsole for increased shock absorption, with a black Ndurance rubber outsole capping it off. White "998 New Balance Made in the USA" embroidery on the tongue and navy NB on the heels finish off the Grey Day classic.
