Imagine a world where your favorite stores all have their own pro sports teams. Well that fantasy is one step closer to reality as Lapstone & Hammer and adidas are bringing our dream of a pro sports team to life with the Lapstone x adidas L.H.F.C. Jersey Capsule. The Lapstone & Hammer Football Club may be a work of fiction right now, but you can look like a part of the team in these white and black adidas ClimaCool jerseys that feature Lapstone & Hammer and four alternate “sponsors” on the front. A special event will be held this Saturday, July 21st from 10am-2pm at Lapstone & Hammer’s 1106 Chestnut St. location in downtown Philadelphia for the unveiling of the Lapstone x adidas L.H.F.C. jerseys. The launch will feature food, drink, music, giveaways and other special surprises.
Mimicking the look of the traditional pro soccer jersey, the design features the “L.H.F.C.” crest on the left chest and the sponsor across the front. In addition to Lapstone & Hammer, the jersey features four of our favorite Philadelphia restaurants located along the Frankford Ave corridor in the now fully gentrified Fishtown neighborhood: Pizzeria Beddia, makers of America’s best pizza; Suraya, the city’s hottest new dining experience; Philly Style Bagels, pioneering a new method for bagel making; and Philly-based national coffee roasters La Colombe.
The home jerseys in black will feature Lapstone & Hammer, Pizzeria Beddia and Philly Style Bagels on an adidas ClimaCool Jersey with a V-neck ribbed collar and black tonal 3-stripes on the shoulder. Lapstone, La Colombe and Suraya are featured on the white adidas ClimaLite away jerseys, which have a contrasting black 3-stripes on the shoulders with a crewneck . The jerseys retail for $60 and will be available July 21st at 10am first come, first served both in-store at Lapstone & Hammer, 1106 Chestnut St., Philadelphia, PA, and on lapstoneandhammer.com.
