Love. Equality. Respect. Decency. Unity. These are all concepts that are unfortunately becoming afterthoughts in today's increasingly rancorous and divided world. But as we drift further apart, we need to remember that we are all human beings made of blood and guts and bones. We all know joy and pain. We are all stuck here on planet Earth. We are all one. With that in mind, Lapstone & Hammer is seeking to promote a renewed sense of togetherness and brotherhood with this Saturday's debut of our new "Unite" hoodie.
The Lapstone & Hammer "Unite" Hoodie is a 100% cotton, reverse weave Champion pullover hoodie that features a chest logo made from high quality cotton thread embroidery with a matte finish. The logo is inspired by Benjamin Franklin's famous "Join, Or Die" cartoon that became a symbol of freedom and unity for the American colonies during the Revolutionary War. It depicted a snake cut into eight pieces, each one representing a different region of the country. Designer Najeeb Sheikh has reinterpreted that image, setting the segmented snake entwined amidst our name to show that Lapstone & Hammer stands for unity, equality and inclusivity.
The homie Post Malone took some time during his recent "Beerbongs & Bentleys Tour" stop in Philadelphia to kick it with the Lapstone crew and rock our new "Unite" hoodie. The lovely and talented Evan Kaucher was on hand to snap some pics on film (the old fashioned way).
The Lapstone & Hammer "Unite" Hoodie in black, and white heather will be available in-store and online on Saturday, June 2nd @ 10:00am. Each color is limited to 100 pieces and will not be restocked.
