Jordan Brand draws inspiration from astronaut fits while invoking the color palette of the beloved "Shattered Backboard" on their new women's exclusive, the WMNS Air Jordan 4 Retro SE "Starfish". The classic silhouette takes a page from the designers of NASA's duds by covering the upper in black and orange metallic mesh, showcasing the beauty and strength of the materials used to make spacesuits.
Matte black overlays on the TPU heel tab and lace wings, black mesh netting on the tongue and side panels, orange trim on the paneling and exposed foam on the tongue comprise the distinctive details of the upper. An orange Jumpman on the the tongue tag and a grey one on the heel take care of the branding, while a grey and white midsole with a heel-based Max Air unit and an orange, white and grey rubber outsole completes the design.
