Jun Takahashi brings his unmatched sartorial style to one of Nike's classic '80s running silhouettes on the Undercover x Nike WMNS Daybreak. The Undercover boss transforms the old school runner with a futuristic aesthetic embodied by the jagged plastic heel clip that extends past the back of the upper. This women's release of the two brand's most recent collaboration consists on two very different colorways: "Black" and "Lucky Green".
The "Black" edition features a tonal makeup with a black nylon upper overlaid with tonal hairy suede panels on the toe, eyestay, and heel cap framed by the black and silver speckled heel clip. A black leather swoosh and laces continue the monochromatic theme, with a co-branded tongue tag and insole and an Undercover "U" logo heel tag finishing off the details. A speckled off-white midsole stamped with Undercover branding and a black rubber track-like outsole complete design.
The "Lucky Green" edition features a green nylon upper overlaid with sail hairy suede panels on the toe and eyestay, and a black suede heel cap framed by the green speckled heel clip. Bright red accents on the leather swoosh and laces give a nice color pop, with a co-branded tongue tag and insole and an Undercover "U" logo heel tag finishing off the details. A speckled off-white midsole stamped with Undercover branding and a black rubber track-like outsole complete design.
The Undercover x Nike WMNS Daybreak "Black" & "Lucky Green" will release on Friday, June 21st @10:00am, and will only be available in-store on a first come first serve basis. Any remaining pairs will be made available online.
