The latest collaboration between Nike Skateboarding and Jordan Brand pays tribute to MJ's alma mater and an OG colorway of his first signature with the Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low QS "UNC". Co-designed by legendary skater and longtime Nike athlete Eric Koston, this low top version of the Air Jordan 1 is inspired by his mother's childhood refusal to purchase him a pair of "UNC" AJ1's he found on the clearance rack.
The shoes are constructed from white premium leather with powder blue leather overlays on the swoosh, toe cap, eyestay and heel. A white Jordan Wings logo on the heel tabs and Nike SB on the tongue tag and insole take care of the branding. The inside of the tongue features a tag with Kosten's signature on one side and $24.99 on the other - the price of the clearance rack pair Kosten coveted back in 1986. White laces and a powder blue lining, a white midsole and a powder blue rubber outsole complete the look.
The Nike SB x Air Jordan 1 Low QS "UNC" releases on Saturday, August 10th @ 10:00am, and is only available via in-store raffle.
