Jerry Lorenzo and Nike are at it again, as the Swoosh continues their lauded partnership with the Fear Of God mastermind for a spring capsule that includes two brand new silhouettes: the Air Fear Of God Raid and the Air Fear Of God Moc.
The Air FOG Raid is inspired by the shoe that sparked Lorenzo's sneaker obsession back in his sophomore year in high school, the Air Raid. Lorenzo's take elevates the classic design with a premium tumbled leather and textile upper in Light Bone that still highlights the signature nylon cross straps while adding a minimal lacing system with a branded FOG toggle. Stitch detailing on the toebox, canvas overlays on the tongue and heel and black leather swooshes finish off the upper, while embossed branding on the midsole and the same double stacked Zoom Air 180° unit from the Air FOG 1 complete the look.
The Air Fear Of God Moc approximates a classic moccasin design with a Pure Platinum laceless, mid-cut nylon ripstop upper that is set off with large, elastic midfoot strap. The casual and sporty, minimalist design features a toggled elastic drawstring system on the heel and a snap closure on the ankle, stitch detailing on the toebox and a canvas overlay on the heel. A small black jewel swoosh on the strap and small swoosh on the snap, embossed branding on the midsole and the now signature double stacked Zoom Air 180° unit cap off Lorenzo's latest lifestyle creation.
The Nike Air Fear Of God Raid and the Air Fear Of God Moc release on Saturday, April 27th @ 10:00am, and are only available via in-store raffle that ends on Thursday, April 25th. Sign up at our shop on 1106 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia.
