The influential Japanese streetwear brand, NEIGHBORHOOD, returns for their second collaboration with Converse to infuse motorcycle counter-culture style into two heritage silhouettes and a range of apparel.
Founder Shinsuke Takizawa brings his signature design ethos to the Chuck 70 High and Jack Purcell Ox, adding a large leather velcro strap and black leather overlays to the former, and a premium suede upper with leather overlays and white foxing that runs overtop of the "smiling" rubber toe cap of the latter. Both shoes feature white branding to contrast the all black builds, including signature NBHDCNSJP lettering and additional moto-themed touches.
The apparel includes a tee, hoodie, sweatpants, coach's jacket, basketball jersey and shorts that all feature some combination of NBHDCNS branding and pentagram -style Converse logs.
The NEIGHBORHOOD x Converse collection will release on Saturday, August 24th both in-store and online at 10:00am EST.
