This Saturday, September 2nd, Viola Brands, the cannabis company founded by former NBA star Al Harrington, is finally coming to Pennsylvania; and they're bringing a brand new strain from their collaboration with Philly legend Allen Iverson called "Bubba Chuck". To commemorate the new Iverson strain and Viola's entrance into the PA marketplace, Lapstone and Viola are releasing a collaborative capsule featuring tees, hoodies and trucker hats showcasing some of Allen's most memorable quotes and images that will debut at an in-store launch party attended by Bubba Chuck himself, Allen Iverson!

The daylong launch party begins with Al Harrington and Allen Iverson coming to Kensington's newly opened RISE location (3903 Aramingo Ave.) on Saturday morning for a meet-and-greet with prizes and merchandise. The gang then heads down to Lapstone & Hammer for the release of our collaborative capsule.

Lapstone x Viola "Bubba Chuck" Capsule Release Event: Saturday Sept 2nd (Noon to 4pm)

There will be an open bar for everyone 21+, and an appearance by the one and only Allen Iverson. The event will run from 12 noon to 4pm, but we suggest you get there early to make sure you grab a piece from the capsule before it sells out. 

Collection will release 9/2 in-store and online at noon, and consists of the following pieces:

The capsule features five tees, made from 100% 330gram heavyweight cotton in either black, white or cream. There will also be two hoodies in black or white, also made from 100% heavyweight cotton fleece. All pieces feature custom Iverson graphic prints in a mix of direct-to-garment and silkscreen. The collection is finished off with two classic trucker hats in black and white.

Some call him AI, others dubbed him The Answer, but any true Allen Iverson fan knows his real nickname is Bubba Chuck. When Allen was a baby, his uncle Bubba and uncle Chuck were arguing over what his nickname should be. Tired of their back and forth, his mother Ann finally decided that he would take on both of his uncles' names and be called Bubba Chuck. Thus a legend was born.

"Bubba Chuck" is Iverson's third collaboration with Viola, following the "Iverson '96" and "Iverson '01", which commemorate the year the Sixers drafted him first overall and the year he won MVP while taking the team to the NBA Finals, respectively. The Viola x Iverson "Bubba Chuck" will be available exclusively at all RISE dispensaries in Pennsylvania on September 2nd.
