LAPSTONE X CONVERSE CHARITY DRIVE
OFF WHITE X CONVERSE CHUCK 70 RAFFLE IN-STORE ONLY.
SEE DETAILS BELOW.
This weekend Lapstone & Hammer will be hosting the Lapstone x Converse Charity Drive in conjunction with the much anticipated release of the Off White x Converse Chuck 70. On this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 5th, 6th & 7th, we will be accepting donations of new and gently used sneakers for entry into our In-Store Only Raffle for the Off White x Converse Chuck 70 that releases on Monday, October 8th.
Rather than just conduct a regular raffle, we want to use the energy surrounding this shoe as way to help the less fortunate residents of our city. That being said, this raffle will be in-store only, there will be no online raffle for this release.
The only way to enter this raffle is to donate at least one pair of sneakers to our charity drive. For every pair of new or gently used shoes donated, the customer will receive one raffle entry; each pair donated will count as an additional entry. Therefore two pairs donated = two raffle entries and so on and so forth. The more pairs you donate, the better your chances are to win a chance to purchase this highly coveted sneaker.
Here is how this will work:
- Bring as many pairs of new or gently used sneakers to Lapstone & Hammer, 1106 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia. PA. Shoes must be in good condition to qualify for the raffle.
- Then fill out a raffle entry on the shop tablet. Each pair you donate counts as an additional raffle entry, so donate as many as you can for a better chance to win.
- Take a pic in our interactive front window display.
On Saturday and Sunday we will have 3 types of cookies made especially for this event by Vanilya Bakery: a Chuck Taylor All Star Patch cookie, a Lapstone logo cookie and an Off-White black & white striped cookie. Get down here early to grab your cookie before they're gone.
The donations will be going to three great organizations that benefit the Philadelphia community: Project Home, Broad Street Ministry and Cradles To Crayons. Project Home empowers people to break the cycle of homelessness through street outreach, social and political advocacy, a range of supportive housing and comprehensive services. Broad Street Ministry practices Radical Hospitality, making sure there is food, clothing and support for everyone who wants it. Cradles To Crayons provides everyday essentials like shoes, clothes, books and toys to children living in poverty.
Do good. Have fun. Support Philly.
