Lapstone & Hammer's RECONSTRUCT program, an ongoing exploration of sustainability and garment up-cycling that breathes new life into existing pieces of clothing by re-making them into something entirely different, culminates with our latest release: the Lapstone RECONSTRUCT Patchwork Tee.
For this project we combed through 2 years worth of color sampled tees from our various hand-dyed projects that we then cut up and reconstructed into nine distinct patchwork patterns. While these are arranged into "colorways" based on the main center panel of the shirt, the unique hand-dying process that was originally used to create the samples ensure that every tee is one-of-a-kind.
The tees have an oversized, boxy, drop shoulder fit that is wider and slightly cropped. Each tee features a translucent Lapstone & Hammer logo on the chest in Clear Gel Print for a subtle branding hit.
