Aimé Leon Dore is having a good 2020. The Queens-based brand founded by Teddy Santis in 2014 began this strange and horrible year with an incredible collaboration with Porsche that included an actual fully restored 911 in addition to apparel, then followed that up with a huge New Balance project and a nod as one of Complex's best brands of 2020.
Closing out this seemingly never-ending year is their Fall/Winter 2020 collection called "The World's Borough," which celebrates the ingenuity and diversity of Santis' native Queens through the label's signature mix of luxury, sportswear and nostalgia. The extensive collection features a wide array of styles ranging from vibrant jacquard print sweaters to classic striped rugby shirts, color-blocked penny loafers, tonal 'Uniform" sweatsuits and, of course, a liberal helping of houndstooth, that are all tinged with a '90s aesthetic that lies at the core of Santis' sartorial style.
The latest drop from ALD's FW 2020 "The World's Borough" is available now, only in-store at Lapstone & Hammer's 1106 Chestnut St. location in Philadelphia, PA.
