With so much uncertainty facing us surrounding COVID-19, there's one thing that we shouldn't be uncertain about: our willingness to extend a helping hand to those in need during times of crisis. With that in mind we are joining The Philly Pledge to support the PHL COVID-19 fund.
The PHL COVID-19 Fund is a collaboration established between the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Foundation and United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey (UWGPSNJ) to aid nonprofits working to respond to the impact the pandemic is having throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region. Grants will be made weekly to community-based organizations that support residents in three primary capacities: food and basic needs, protection of vulnerable groups, and medical care and information.
Our mission here is to HARNESS THE POWER OF HYPE to support those on the front lines risking their lives to help others. Now more than ever we must unite for the greater good of our community. Take the pledge and donate. No donation is too small, every little bit helps! Through thick and thin, wins and losses, championships or bust, we always come together in a time of need and leave no one behind.
To start off we will be conducting two raffles this weekend to support the Philly Pledge. Donations are not mandatory to enter the raffle, but any amount you can give will go a long way towards helping out vulnerable people in this crisis.
